Regional Psychiatric Hospitals

The Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) operates seven psychiatric hospitals. These facilities provide comprehensive services to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. Services are provided to customers in a competitive healthcare market that emphasizes quality, consumer recovery and continued improvement in a therapeutic and healthy environment.

ODMH Commitment to Safety and Quality

ODMH and its hospital management team are committed to providing the highest level of quality and safety to the patients and families that it serves. As part of that commitment, each hospital is required to be inspected by and maintain compliance with the national healthcare standards for hospitals of The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (TJC) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

All seven psychiatric hospitals are fully accredited and certified by these standard setting organizations. ODMH encourages patients and their families to report concerns about safety and quality. Concerns about safety and quality?
