Northwest Ohio Psychiatric Hospital

Toledo Campus

On March 5, Ohio Department of Mental Health Director Sandra Stephenson announced that Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare's Toledo Campus would become a stand-alone regional psychiatric hospital by July 1, 2009. Subsequently, staff at the Toledo Campus and ODMH's central office chose the new name: Northwest Ohio Psychiatric Hospital. This reorganization will benefit customers in Northwest Ohio by establishing a local executive management team separate from Northcoast, headquartered in Summit County. The change doesn't affect staffing or patient care at the facility, and the same team that ran the Toledo Campus now leads the stand-alone facility.
