Flexible Performance Agreement (FPA) Dashboard Report
The Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) Flexible Performance Agreement (FPA) Dashboard Report identifies our departmental successes and challenges. It provides a visual display of a number of the metrics that the ODMH Director and the Governor have agreed are important for the department to achieve. Just as automobiles use dashboards to deliver critical information to drivers about speed, fuel levels, possible engine problems, etc., the FPA Dashboard Report organizes data around key performance indicators (KPIs) in a simple-to-use display that helps staff determine whether or not they are achieving the purpose or mission of their department, division or program.
ODMH's Performance Dashboard uses a “traffic-light” approach as a way to provide a quick and easy-to-use visual summary of the FPA information.
The Dashboard uses the following colors and symbols:
| A "green +" indicates year-end estimate is better than target (i.e., 5% or more). | |
![]() |
A "yellow ~" indicates year-end estimate is close to target (i.e., within 5%). |
![]() |
A "red -" indicates year-end estimate is worse than the target (i.e., 5% or more). |
This information can be used to engage employees in service-improvement efforts and advocate for needed support. The Dashboard helps us identify where we should focus our efforts to optimize service delivery.
